I'm not just a coach. I'm a peer. I was emotionally, physically, and sexually abused as a child. I witnessed domestic violence in my childhood home and have been through abusive relationships as an adult. Later in adulthood, I joined the military and did two combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

"Helping is healing." I don't know where I first heard that phrase, but I've heard it numerous times throughout my life. In that spirit, I've dedicated much of my adult life to helping others like me. I've spent several years volunteering and working in such areas as crisis counseling, victim advocacy, and client support.

In addition to my extensive experience, I have also attained formal education. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a heavy emphasis in Human Development and Family Studies in 2015. I have also studied under Bobbi L. Parish, founder and director of the International Association of Trauma Recovery Coaching.
